Debra's Story

Debra Thomas is a lifelong resident of Oakdale La. She has two sons, one daughter and a son-in-law. She has worked for Allen Parish School Board for 31 years and loves working with children in her community. She is a Breast Cancer survival. She recently started an organization called “Be a Blessing for Cancer Survival."  She also started an organization called “Bike for Breast Cancer."  In her words, "I'm Truly Bless!"

Bread of Life Community Development Corporation of Louisiana knows that our strength lies not only in the words we stand by, but most importantly through the actions of our initiatives. In 2015, our Non-Profit realized that by working together we could overcome our challenges much more efficiently, and that is why we ultimately decided to launch BOLCDCL .
